Vote Miklos Horvath Councillor Rideau-Rockcliffe

Our community, our city.

Let's make it better together!

My name is Miklós Horváth and I have been living in Ottawa-Vanier since 1992 and within the Lindenlea community for over five years.

I have always been interested in how communities and cities develop and what specific things make them successful. Having spent my formative years in the UK and France, I have had the opportunity to see first-hand how some cities are able to make things work for their citizens.

Upon my return to Canada, I completed my Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Political Science and my Master’s degree in Public Administration at Carleton University. I entered the public service with the Office of the Comptroller General and have worked in several departments as an Internal Audit Manager, learning the business processes for the projects I manage and focusing-in on the areas of highest risk in order to provide value added recommendations that will fix the issue or weakness in a cost effective manner.

I am also the proud father of two children aged 13 and 7, and I am involved in my daughter's choir and my children's school.

I am looking for your support so that I can represent you within the community and at the council table. The residents of Rideau-Rockcliffe deserve a voice at the council table and I am committed to forging strong alliances with likeminded councillors to improve key services for you. I am bilingual and look forward to hearing from all corners of Rideau-Rockcliffe.
